The maker behind the glass

I'm Nils, a scientific glassblower and lampworker with over 20 years of experience. In my studio in Germany, I work with both soft glass (Murano glass) and borosilicate glass, two materials that behave completely differently and allow me to work in a very versatile way.

I create glass jewelry , decorative objects , and functional everyday items such as hand-blown cups, glasses, and mugs, each piece freely shaped at the torch, without molds or mass production. In doing so, I combine the precision of scientific glassblowing with a clean, modern design.

My work is created at over 1,000°C, carefully tempered in the kiln, and always remains unique. Glass is a living material, and that's precisely what makes each project a combination of technique, experience, and a steady, focused hand.

I design pieces for people who appreciate character, quality, and authentic craftsmanship.

About me :)

My philosophy

Glass is a living material. It reacts to heat, movement, and timing, and stores every decision. This is precisely what makes each piece a dialogue between fire, technology, and stillness.

I deliberately work slowly, precisely, and without templates. All pieces are shaped entirely by hand, built up layer by layer, and then tempered in an oven.

No mass production. No compromises.

Only glass, fire, and craftsmanship with character.
