Handcrafted Glass Ring with Gilson Opal - Black Base & Clear Glass Dome
A modern statement ring made of borosilicate glass, crafted using the lampwork technique in my studio in Greifenstein. The clear glass dome enhances the radiance of the approximately 4–5 mm white Gilson opal, which appears in iridescent colors depending on the light – almost as if floating above the deep black base.
Gilson opals are considered stones of inspiration and creativity. Their fascinating play of colors is reminiscent of sunlight reflected in dark depths – a touch of magic for every day.
